Synopsis : In Belle Epoque Paris, the
19-year-old cleaning the kitchen Augustin inexplicably suffers a stroke which
partially paralyzed him and became a psychiatric clinic for women specializes
in the disease, while sent in "hysteria." Augustine captures the
attention of the famous neurologist Charcot, after she had another attack,
which seems to be the intense physical pleasure. Intrigued, he begins as the
main theme, use its fascinating, medical colleagues. As Augustine sample their
spectacular attacks in the classroom, the boundaries between the physician and
the patient are blurry, which radically on the lives of the two.
